Have you ever experienced something like this before? This happened to me quite a number of times already (or something quite similar to this)...
Me: Do you believe there's a Creator in this universe?
Ah Chong: Yes, look at the complexity of our genetic code, don't tell me it happens by coincidence...
Me: Good, in Islam we called that Creator as God...
Ah Chong: Ahh, ok...
Me: Do you believe that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is a Messenger of God?
Ah Chong: Of course, i read somewhere something about him, seems like a nice guy, very wise too...
Me: There, you are a Muslim...
Ah Chong: What???? No way man, please don't associate me with those people, look at the damage they have done to our country, look at how they oppressed the poor and needy, look at how they treat the people of other religions...bla bla bla....bla, bla, bla....bla bla bla...
Me: *toing* ...krikk, krikkk, kriikkk
This is one of the many reasons why i dare not use the term 'kafir' on the non Muslims in general...
