Religious segregation is never a part of Islam

Religious segregation is never a part of Islamic teaching. Religious segregation is the idea that people should be separated based on their religion. In fact, Islam teaches its believers to integrate with each other from all walks of life. The Quran clearly says:

"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another..."(QS 49:13)

The reason Allah SWT creates human in many different tribes with different skin color, different spoken language, different cultural, different believes and creed ect; because God wanted us to integrate with each other, so that we could live peacefully and harmoniously together.

Islam does not forbids its believer to integrate and befriend others from different faith. Islam only forbids the Muslim from befriending those who opposes Islam and fight against its believers. The Quran says:

"Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly."(QS 60:8)

To make matter worst, some political motivated religious authorities and political leaders are instilling fear among the Muslims and also to other faith believers in Malaysia so that they could divide them. They are using religion differences to segregate the citizen so that they could apply the oldest trick in the book, that is to 'divide and conquer'.

Beware of this dirty political trap, don't ever fall victim to such segregation trick. Islam is all about humanitarian unity and integration. If we do not mingle with the non-believers, how on earth are we suppose to spread the good news and teachings of Islam to them? How are we suppose to live harmoniously and peacefully with them if we keep on making them as our enemy, even if they are not.

I am so sadden by the case that happened in the Church of Assumption in PJ, where they're suppose to break fast with fellow Muslims but was forced to cancel it due to threats and troubles from the ignorant Muslim communities. I am so sorry to say, this is never a part of Islamic teaching. In fact, it is actually against the true spirit of the Holy Teachings...

But Alhamdulillah, some of them actually got together and break fast despite the threats from the trouble makers...
