I am not sure if Harussani really said this or not but just in case if he really did, then he ought to know that...
1) Prophet Muhammad SAW was raised by a non Muslim (Abi Talib)
2) It was non Muslim (the Quraish tribe) who taught Prophet Muhammad SAW how to become a good businessman
3) It was non Muslim (the Quraish tribe) who taught Prophet Muhammad SAW honesty and pride till he was referred to as 'Al-Amin'' (the trustworthy)
4) It was non Muslim (the Companions) who submits to Prophet Muhammad SAW teachings by embracing Islam and fought side by side with him...
5) It was non Muslim (Khatijah) who gave comfort and assurance to Prophet Muhammad SAW that Allah has chosen him for good reason and need not be afraid...
6) It was non Muslim (the first hijrah to Abyssinia and second hijrah to Medinah) that gave protection to Muslims when they was in trouble with the Arabs...
7) 400 years ago, your ancestor was non Muslim. If those Muslim traders and merchant that came to Malaya back then treated your non Muslim ancestor the way you treat the non Muslims today, you probably wouldn't be a Muslim today...
8) I can go on and on with this but i believed you get the picture...lastly, the Quran says:
"Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice." (QS 60:8)

Muslims should view non Muslims as their 'customer' because non Muslims is one of the gateway to Heaven for the Muslims if they embrace Islam because of them. Similarly, non Muslim is also the gateway to Hell for the Muslims if they turn them away from being faithful to Allah by portraying injustice and racial discrimination (asobiyah).
